Cisco has responded to the challenge in the internetworking technology with the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Program. This is a high-level certification program designed to identify and serve the best of the internetworking experts and to improve your hands-on skills. The CCIE certification is currently the most significant certification in the industry. CCIE Security experts are capable of configuring complex end-to-end secure networks, can troubleshoot integrated environments and possess strong understanding of common attacks and mitigation techniques. Although core IP routing protocols are not the focus of this certification, delegates must demonstrate in-depth understanding and applicable knowledge in Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructures.

Course Objectives

This Cisco course is designed specifically to prepare students for passing the CCIE Security Written Exam. The CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Security certification recognizes individuals who have the knowledge and skills to implement, maintain and support extensive Cisco Network Security Solutions using the latest industry best practices and technologies. This course is designed to cover all the topics on the Cisco CCIE Security Written Blueprint.

Prerequisites:

CCSP trained and/or certified.

 

Intended Audience:

CCIE Security candidates who have already obtained their CCSP or have equivalent level-of-knowledge. This boot camp is also beneficial to those CCIE candidates who have attempted the actual CCIE written exam without passing and need to build on their understanding of the fundamental topics.
